IDS has a well-equipped library containing the latest textbooks and journals, both Indian and international. It also offers additional facilities such as photocopying machines and computers with Internet facilities.

Provided with a relaxed ambience in serene settings, students enjoy the benefit of peaceful hours of reading and taking notes from the references on the choicest of subjects.

The college has a well stocked central library with total of 3430 no.s books;317 titles, 10 no's of back volumes of Indian Journals, 10 no.s of volumes international Journal still 2008 and 16 back volumes of International Journals . Library has computerized information management system which allows immediate tracing and retrieval of any publication in library.

There is also available on CD-ROM, Copier machine, audio visual Aids, LCD Projectors, scanner & printer. At present every student is issued 7 library cards and faculty member 10 library cards . The working hours of the library are 8.00 AM to 8.00 PM. All efforts are being made to extend library facilities to users by global access.

Library has spacious, well ventilated reading rooms one for faculty and staff and other for students. Further web proxy server in radio linked via router and raio-linked-tower providing 256 kbps bandwidth. All faculty, students and staff members get internet service for 24 hours.

Online access to e - Books & Journals through EBSCO ( MEDLINE) to around 1200 journals.
